Veterans Day

Veterans Day

Flags flapped in the wind, flashing colors of blue, red, and white. Salutes. Handshakes. A nod or two and athank you.Special ceremonies bring gratitude and togetherness. Meals shared bring thankfulness. This is Veterans Day. Or what Veterans Day should be.

Right now, many veterans in the United States are suffering. Grieving. Some are struggling to make a living. Some haven’t been able to get the best medical care. Grief can be overbearing on top of the problems they face. Many who served have lost a relative or friend in combat or from medical complications, injuries, disease, etc. Our veterans need our support more than ever.

To all veterans–thank you for your service. We appreciate you and your sacrifices made for our country. Thank you.

Here is our tribute to you.

American Soldier by Toby Keith – This song truly depicts the sacrifices our veterans have made, and no matter how difficult, it was a sacrifice they committed to for the sake of our whole country.
