Mildred “Millie” Noreen, age 85, passed away peacefully after a battle with two serious illnesses. Per Millie’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I remember Miss Noreen. I don’t remember all my teachers names so that says something about her right there. She kept us moving. I remember the tinickeling(sp)that she had us do. I don’t think that was a common activity but it was unique. I hope her later years were not all consumed with her illness and hope she enjoyed her years teaching.
She was my gym teacher way back in the day. Sorry to hear that she passed away. Prayers for her family and friends.
I greatly enjoyed her sense of humor. She told me she liked home made bread, so I gave her what I made in home ec class. She was out sick for weeks. I thought it was my bread but turned out she had chicken pox and was very ill.
Millie was my teaching colleague for many years, we shared the gym , which at times which at times was challenging due to the size of our classes. We both tried our best. RIP
MISS Noreen was my High School PE teacher from 1968-1971
I loved sports in due part to Miss Noreen. We had a well rounded and great PE and GAA program for girls at Hudson High School. My happiest memories of Huson High Scool were PE and GAA! Thank you Miss Noreen!
Millie was a strong determined woman who handled life crisis with grace.
We will miss her witty sense of humor. Rest in peace dear friend.
