Yvonne Langness 04/06/2013

Yvonne Langness, age 62 of Star Prairie, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at The Gathering at Boutwells Landing in Stillwater, MN.  Yvonne was born the daughter of Gordon B. and Evelyn (Johnson) Green in Hudson, Wisconsin.  She grew up on County Road A outside of Boardman and attended Hudson High School.  Yvonne worked at St. Croix Press for over 30 years.  In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, fishing, spending time with family and friends, her dogs, and cheering on the Packers!  Yvonne donated her time and cooking talents as a member of the New Richmond Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW and to the Star Prairie Lions Club.  Yvonne was a strong willed, independent woman that was still free-spirited, loving and caring.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon B. and Evelyn (Johnson) Green.  Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Angela (Steve) Dobrzynski; grandchildren, Josh and Sydney Dobrzynski; siblings, David (Karen) Green, Dwayne (Becky) Green, Ron (Sandy) Green, Eugene Green, Darwin (Jean) Green, Gordon Rodney (Debbie) Green, Carol (Jerry) McDonel; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A private family memorial service will take place and a public memorial gathering was held on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 4:30-8 pm at the Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel in New Richmond.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
