Yvette Nelson, age 88 of New Richmond, WI died Friday, May 22, 2020 at the St Croix Health Center. A private family burial of Yvette’s urn will take place in Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie, WI at a later date. Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Yvette was a wonderful person. She was a good friend to my mother Eva and her daughter Deb was a dear friend to me at the First Lutheran Church. Their friendship meant a lot as we were from Somerset. Yvette was my choir director at church since I was 3 years old until my teenage years. Very kind and had beautiful red hair and skin.
It has been a long time since I have seen her, but she always greeted me with a smile and a hug. I will miss her and I know there is another Angel in Heaven-leading the choir up there….My deepest sympathy to the Nelson Family.
