It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Wolf (Wolfie) Affias, age 78, mourns his passing on Thursday, March 5th, 2026.
Wolfie is survived by his daughter Sara (Bill), his wife Jill, brother Mike, nephews and nieces. Also, special family John, Angel, Chris, and Lexi House.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ann, infant son Charlie Joe, and brothers Peter, Pat, and Louie.
Wolfie immigrated to the United States when he was about 3 years old with his parents, Peter and baby Mike. He remembers playing with a toy motorcycle during the long journey, and that his mom was very seasick. The family settled in North Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wolfie attended public and Hebrew schools. He graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1965.
After high school, Wolfie explored the United States on his motorcycle, attended the U of M, and worked at a variety of jobs. He retired from the Robbinsdale School District after 20 years of service.
Wolfie loved riding his Harley with his “Hog” friends, working on cars, puttering in the shed, fixing whatever Jill broke, and our road trip vacations. Most of all, he loved his farm. He always said that it has “good energy”.
A celebration of Life was held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Affias Farm, 1806 220th Ave. New Richmond, WI. Lunch was served starting at 1:00pm. Dan & Linda Semi will share their musical talents. Wolfie’s beloved Harley friends will be spreading his ashes in the wind behind their motorcycles starting at our farm. You may even see Jill on a motorcycle!
Rest in peace Wolfie. You are very loved and will be missed. Until we meet again.

Dear Sara, I am so sorry about your dad. What an amazing man. I love this picture of him, you resemble him. ❤️
I have such great memories of Wolfie on Upton in the 70’s with his daughter Sara and pup Scorcer! He will be missed !
One of my favorite memories of Wolfie was the summer we got special passes to take brother Joey to a Twins Game … we loaded Joe up in the van and were able to drive right down onto the field where many of the Twins’ players jumped into the back to have a chat w/Joe …. then he was carried on a stretcher right into a suite where we all belted out TAKE ME TO THE BALLGAME! And there was Wolfie to help load Joe and carry him down the concourse … making sure he was safe/comfortable and having fun …. And he was!!!! Thank you Wolfie for caring and loving the Kosmoski Family …. You will be missed!’
Love
Jeff and Roxi Kosmoski
