Not the most physically imposing guy in the world, Bill possessed a large brain and an even bigger heart. Gone but never forgotten.

Mary’s dad touched many lives including the Battle Creek School community in Saint Paul MN where she works. He graciously built some benches for the outside classroom and some planters to beautify the entrance. We always mention him when people comment on them. I would like to extend my sympathy to Mary and all her family.

Bill was my graduate school advisor at UW-RF, and one of the best teachers I ever had. I appreciated his unwavering support through the years, be it by letters or phone calls or visits. He got me through some difficult times. My visits with him and Dot will always be fondly remembered. He meant a lot to me, and I am sad he is gone. My condolences to his family.
