William J. “Bill” Hill, age 73, of New Richmond passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children, Connie, Jim, Julie, Jennifer, Benjamin, Denise and Susie; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Kay, Annie, Pauline, Eileen, Daniel, Diane, Tommy; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; brother, Patrick; and son, Joe.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at Holy Childhood Catholic Church (1435 Midway Parkway) in St. Paul. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave.) in New Richmond with a brief service beginning at 4 pm. Meal and fellowship followed the service. Interment with military honors was on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Lane #4 in Minneapolis, MN.

Many condolences to you so sorry for your loss
So sorry to hear, my condolences to the Hill family. Great childhood memories growing up next to the Hill’s. Always remember seeing Bill’s cool green Nova parked across the street on Arlington. I’m pretty sure it turned me into a “car guy” R.I.P.
