William Edholm 08/27/2015

William Edward Edholm, age 87 of River Falls, WI, died on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the River Falls Area Hospital.  Bill was born the son of Edward Edholm and Anna Larson on August 9, 1928 in St. Paul, MN.  He graduated from St. Paul Harding High School.  After high school, Bill served in U.S. Army.  On August 22, 1978 he was married to Linda O’Hearon in St. Paul.  He worked as a maintenance man for various companies.  Bill was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion.  He enjoyed vintage cars, fishing, camping and visiting with family and friends.  He was gentle and loving person who was honest and humble.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Edholm and Anna Larson; and brothers, Thomas (Jeanne), Edward, and Richard.  Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Edholm; daughter, Christine Heath; grandchildren, Abigail Heath and Andrew Hawn; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11 am at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls.  Visitation was also Friday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment will be at a later date.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
