Willard Herman Fredrickson, age 94, of New Richmond, WI passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Orchard View Terrace in New Richmond. Preceded in death by; wife, Marilyn; parents, Herman and Inga Moe Fredrickson. Survived by; children, Paul (Kathy), Mark (Jo), Scott, Teri; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Matt/Katie (Sydney, Gavin), Derek/Nicole (Oliver), Jordan/Jaime (Lena, Liam) Fredrickson, Anthony/Katrina (Lillian, Theodora, Dorthy, Elizabeth) McClelland, Julie/Ryan (Chesney) Komorouski, Katrina/Jeremy (Kelsey, Declan, Jessica, Kendrick, Nathaniel) Noetzelman, Esther “EJ”/Ryan (Chloe, Page, Emma) Haase, Marcy/Adam (Timothy, Basil, Georgianna) Wilson and Josiah Fredrickson. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 2:30 pm at Solid Rock Fellowship (258 N 3rd St) in New Richmond. Visitation will also be Sunday from 1:30-2:30 pm at the church. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I have known Willard for a long time. He enjoyed his music playing at the Deerfield a lot. Wonderful man, may he rest in Peace…
I worked with Willard for years at Doboy. (He taught me how to print legibly.) It was always interesting and fun to hold conversations with him as he shared his faith journey. He is now working in heaven doing what he loved to do. Although it has been years since I last talked with him I can still hear his distinct voice. My condolences to the family.
