Together in their union, Ursula and Roman had 10 beloved children. She was passionate about her family and loved each and every one of them. Ursula had many hobbies that she loved while raising her big family. She enjoyed working in her large garden and canning from her garden. She had a knack for making beautiful quilts for her family and with her family, and with the Martha Group to make quilts to give to the homeless in St. Paul.
Baking was another love for Ursula and she enjoyed a good recipe, as well as sharing them with others. Making kolaches with her family was always a tradition. When not in the kitchen, Ursula enjoyed a good game of Euchre, going to an old tyme dance with Roman, refinishing furniture, watching the wildlife in her yard and visiting friends and relatives.
Ursula always had coffee and food or a dessert for anyone who stopped by. No one left hungry. She loved her house full of grandchildren and great-grandchildren to babysit. She was a kindhearted, giving person, always asking what she could do for others and thinking of herself last.
Ursula is survived by her sons, Terry (Kris), Mike (Grace), Peter (Debbie), Tom (Rhea), and Todd (Jennie Sue); daughters, Sharon (David) Andress, Karen (Ron) Johnson, and Melanie (Barry) Heltne; daughters-in-law, Sandy Lubich and Toni (Steve) Matz; 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
