It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Anthony Bloom, age 58, who passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 28, 2026.
Todd was born to George and Janet (O’Flanagan) Bloom on November 20, 1967. He grew up in Arden Hills, MN and the family later moved to a crop farm in Roberts, WI in 1983. In high school Todd excelled in football and basketball and met the love of his life, Julie, the summer before his senior year. Todd married Julie Geving on August 29, 1992 in Hammond, WI where the two of them resided and welcomed their two children Ryan, on October 11, 1993 and Alyx, on January 19, 2001. They moved to Boyceville, WI in 2002 where they spent years making memories together with family and friends.
At 20 years old, he started his career at Douglas Hanson, where he would spend nearly four decades dedicating himself to his work and colleagues. Through the transition to Loparex, he remained a valued and respected member of the team, eventually serving as Senior Production Manager. He took great pride in the work he did, the people he led, and the lasting impact he made throughout his career.
Todd loved a quiet morning in the woods behind their home, riding his tractor, tinkering around in the shed, playing with his princess Bella and watching the Packers on a Sunday afternoon in his chair. In recent years, Todd found the most joy in his new role as “Pa”. He loved nothing more than spending time with his grandkids, Tate and Joelle.
Todd is survived by his wife Julie (Geving) Bloom, children, Ryan (Katie) Bloom, and Alyx Bloom (Nathan Berends). His grandchildren, Tate and Joelle Bloom. Parents, George (Pat) Bloom and Mary (John) Ricci. Siblings Jeanne (Dave) Refsnider, Kevin (Brenda) Bloom, Tony (Holly) Bloom, Mike (Angela) Bloom, and Anil (Elena) Thobani.
