Timothy Raehsler 03/30/2019

Timothy Jon Raehsler, age 63, of Balsam Lake, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul after a short illness. Tim was born on August 28, 1955 in Red Wing, MN to Joseph and Lillian (nee Fischer) Raehsler. He grew up in the El Paso/Spring Valley, WI area and graduated from Spring Valley Highschool in 1973. Tim married Anne Louise Raehsler on Friday, January 13, 1984. And while most would consider that an unlucky day it was incredibly lucky for the two of them. He was a hard worker all his life and retired from Andersen Windows after 28 years. Tim enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved trying to corral his four cats: King Boy, Kali, Kati and Krissy. His evenings were spent watching some of his favorite shows on tv or quietly reading the Bible with Anne Louise. He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and love of telling jokes to anyone who would listen. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers (Gary, William, Ronald, and Roger), two sisters (Joyce and Arlis), a sister-in-law, Phyllis and a granddaughter (Mackenzie). He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Anne Louise, her children, Beth (Chris) Mazzola, Sean Bussiere, and Shane (John) Wiseman, granddaughter Nicole (David) Glatczak, grandsons Tyler Wiseman and Garrett Bussiere, and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee Jo and Tony. He is also survived by brothers Doug (Dixie) Raehlser, Jake (Susan) Raehsler and sister, Carol (Chuck) Gregg, sisters-in-law, Barb, Laura and Ramona and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his lifelong and best friend, Tim (Judy) Blegen. Gone from us much too early. Tim believed in his, and our Savior, Jesus Christ and we find great comfort in knowing he is in Heaven and we will see him again.   A Celebration of Tim’s life took place Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 805 E Division Street River Falls, WI. Visitation started at 4pm, with a service at 5pm with dinner following. Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.

Dear Raehsler family & friends. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one, Timothy. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I personally have found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all of the many causes we have for suffering, including sickness, pain and death. Knowing this has always brought me some comfort and it is my hope that these thoughts from the Bible will likewise comfort your family and will also ease some of your pain during this most difficult time in your lives.

Tim was my friend. In our young years we pursued what we thought was life, but true Life found us. I am so blessed that Jesus took hold of both of us. I know that you are now in a place of great freedom, liberty, and amazing reality of things that I am yet to know. I knew you Tim as a big man with a big heart. I knew you as my friend. I look forward to hearing yet of your story in your new place of life beyond this world. I will think of you and I will smile. Your friend forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you Anne, family and friends in your time of loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tim was a very good man and friend, while we were in high school. He was a big teddy bear, although I wouldn’t have wanted to be the guy on the other school’s football team, when he played, back then! From the sound of it, he continued to be a gentle giant. He was much too young, to go…I know I speak for our class, we would’ve loved to see him at our class reunions, during the last 45 years,. Thanks to his sister, Carol, she has kept some of us, up to date,on his health problems. May he Rest In Peace and God Bless all, he left behind! ??

May Tim Rest In Peace. I worked with you Anne in those early years you were married and we often laughed about the adventures you and Tim would go on together. May you and your family find comfort in knowing his with our Lord.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Tim and the Spring Valley Years with great fondness. Tim was a good friend and kept us all laughing. I was living in Spring Valley from 65 to 70 and lost track of him when we moved back to RF.
