I’ve only known Pops York a little over 4 years but I feel like I’ve known him forever. Thanks to Renee Peabody for putting such a great man & good friend in my life at a time my life wasn’t so good. Pop’s & I clicked since day 1. Him with his corny but funny jokes making me laugh regardless the mood I was in. The more sass I gave him the more he laughed. Pop’s had a big heart. He was the best listener, his big hugs always warm & a great shoulder to cry upon. He was there for me no matter the issue & I always felt welcome at his home. I’m so happy I was able to be there for him recently when he was really down & needed someone to listen while he vented. My heart was broken the second I heard he had passed away. Pops will always have a place in my heart & my memories. He truly was family to me. He will be sadly missed. I do have to say watching Dream of Jeanie, Hogans Heros & 2 broke Girls will never be the same without Pops… RIP my Friend….
    Much love always,

I was so sad to hear of your passing Tommy. I will always remember the days when you, Gary and myself went to church. It was so hard not to laugh when you were singing, “ when I was thirsty, you gave me a Coke”. Lots of good memories. All of us trying to fit in Mom and Dad’s little cellar during a bad storm. Even though the storm was scary, you kept us laughing. Thanks for the memories…
