Thomas “Tom” Colby 02/25/2024

Thomas “Tom” Colby, age 78, died on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at United Hospital in Saint Paul, MN. He was born the son of Ruby and Russell Colby on May 5, 1945 in Eau Claire, WI. Tom lived in several Western Wisconsin towns in Eau Claire, Chetek, New Richmond, Hudson, and River Falls. He spent many weekends at the lake in Chetek. Tom loved ice cream and eating anything with blueberries. He loved spending time with family and friends having a cup of coffee and pie. Tom enjoyed playing UNO and Bingo.
Tom is preceded in death by mother, Ruby Colby; sister, Eleanor (Wayne) Novak; brother, Russell (Caroline) Colby; father, Russell Colby. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, beloved caregivers, and friends.
A Visitation was held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 9:00AM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond with a prayer service at 9:30AM.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, WI at a later date. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
