Thelma Hassman 07/10/2017

Thelma Elaine Hassman, age 77 of Hudson, WI, died on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Baldwin Care Center.  Thelma was born on March 11, 1940 the daughter of Vern and Inez Kuglin in Redwood Falls, MN.  She graduated from Redwood Falls High School with the class of 1958.  She completed Nurses Training at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in her early 20’s.  Thelma worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals.  On March 25, 1966, Thelma was married to Raymond Hassman in St. Paul, MN.  They moved to Hudson, WI in 1977.  Last year they celebrated 50 years of marriage.  The most important things in Thelma’s life were God and Family.  She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.  Thelma was faithful in everything she did.  Thelma and Raymond attended Bible Baptist Church in Hudson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Inez (Sommerfield) Kuglin.  She is survived by husband, Raymond Hassman; children, Debra (Dennis) Tapp of Woodville, WI, Sarah (Steve) Magnuson of Lindstrum, MN, Daniel (Karyn) Hassman of Johannesburg, South Africa, Mary (Chad) Wagner of Viroqua, WI; 17 Grandchildren, Seth, Luke, Rae Chantel, and Zachary Tapp, Morgan, Joshua, Andrew, and Emily Magnuson, Kristianne, Alissa, Elianna, Annalisse, and Micah Hassman, Savannah, Darby, Richard and Michal Wagner ; and siblings, Roger (Marlene) Kuglin, Donna Peterson, Myra Kuglin. Larry (Carlene) Kuglin.  A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11 am at the Bible Baptist Church 546 N 6th Street Hudson, WI.  Visitation was held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 5-8 pm at the Bible Baptist Church and Saturday from 10-11 am.  Interment was in Sunset Cemetery in Woodville, WI.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
