Susan Paulson 09/18/2021

Susan Mae Paulson was born on November 29th, 1956 to Orville & Marcella (Beauvais) Schaar in Somerset, WI. She passed away peacefully on September 18th, 2021 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She is survived by her two sons Brandon (April) Schaar and Chase (Jesse) Paulson. She had nine siblings – sisters June, Bonnie, Debby (Wally), Peggy (Sheldon), Mary (Rob), and brothers Orville Jr. (Gloria), Louis (Mary), Bobby, Roger – and many nieces and nephews. She’s preceded in death by her parents Orville and Marcella Schaar, as well as her sister June Spaulding. She worked 42 years at Andersen Windows before retiring in 2018. Christ-centered, joyful, generous, loving, and kind are just a few of the words that best describe Sue. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, working in her flower gardens, watching movies, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and catching up with friends. She always had a smile on her face, made the most of each day given, and did her best to reflect Christ in all that she did. A truly beautiful soul with a contagious laugh. A Memorial Gathering was held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11:00AM-2:00PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond, WI. Private family interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery in East Farmington, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Sue will be deeply missed by many. She was filled with the Holy Spirit and walked with Jesus every moment.. Eeveryone she met knew it. She loved her family and her friends and my heart and prayers go out to all of you. She knew she would win if she stayed here on earth or if she left and went to Heaven. She won! Sue, I miss you.
