Summer Braatz 07/22/2018

Summer Marie Braatz, 38, of River Falls, Wisconsin was sadly taken from her family and this earth too early on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Summer was born July 23, 1979 in Wausau, Wisconsin. She happily married Thomas Braatz on August 8, 2014. Summer and Tom were blessed with a beautiful daughter Jade, who Summer was passionately devoted to. Summer loved staying connected to friends and family via Facebook, eating Sushi, her fairy garden, music, and dancing (like nobody should have been watching!) Summer’s memory will live on in the hearts of her husband Tom, daughter Jade, step children TJ and Ashley, parents Bobbi and Steve, brother David, and wife Beth, nephews Porter and Benett, parents Randy and Laurie, half sister Stephanie (Matt) and son Roman. Grandmothers Marion and Lola, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother and father in law Linda and Paul, brothers and sisters in laws, and friends too many to mention. Preceded in death by grandfathers Robert Morton and Gene Eckardt.  In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome memorials to be made to a trust fund set up at the First National Bank of River Falls for the benefit of their daughter, Jade Braatz. Visitation was held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 11 am – 2:30 pm with a memory sharing service at 2:30 pm at the Bakken-Young Funeral Home 805 E Division Street River Falls, WI.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
