Steven O. Johnson 12/14/2023

Steven Orin Johnson, age 57, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, December 14^th, 2023, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Steve was born on December 29, 1965 to Orin and Nancy (Adams) Johnson in River Falls.  After graduating from River Falls High School in 1984, Steve “Fish” started working with various companies in and around River Falls including, Sullivan, Patz Dealership and RCD.  For one year, Steve traveled the United States combining fields for farmers as far south as Texas and would work his way north as the summer progressed, a job he truly appreciated.  Steve enjoyed snowmobiling and riding any type of UTV, and he loved his summers camping at Sherrards Resort on Blake Lake.  Steve adored his nieces and nephews and would always spend time with them when they visited the farm.  Steve will be missed by his mother, Nancy Johnson; brothers, Mike and Dan (Annette) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Amy), Nicole, Kyle, Colin, Cody and Kelsey; and great nieces and nephews, Cora, Wyatt and Rhett.  Steve is preceded in death by his father, Orin Johnson; grandparents, Earl and Verna Johnson and Earl and Eva Adams.

To honor Steve’s wishes, a small family memorial gathering will take place at the farm. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
