Steve Monson, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Our House in River Falls, Wisconsin with his family by his side.
Steve is survived by, his sons, James and Jesse; granddaughters, True and Meya; siblings, Karen Johnson and Stacey (Martin) Ruemmele; niece, Theresa Johnson; and nephew, Cade LaPerre. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Theresa Monson.
A memorial service for Steve is being held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St) River Falls, Wisconsin, with visitation starting at 12:00PM. Interment will be in St. Bridget Cemetery, River Falls, Wisconsin.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Steven’s passing. My deepest condolences to Dear Stacey, Steven’s children and entire family.
Loved this man like a favorite brother. Am deeply saddened by his loss. Lot of memories. Prayers are with all the folks who loved him.
RIP Steve. I will definitely miss you phone calls and text messages. You were a great friend always. And those of us @ Mid State Auto Auction give our sincere condolences to the family. Love always Deb
