Steven J. Arne
June 29, 1958 – May 19, 2026
What a ride it’s been with my brother, Steven. Sixty-five years riding side by side through life’s straightaways, backroads, and hard curves — and now, far too suddenly, he’s taken his final ride.
Steven Arne of River Falls, WI, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2026. Steve wasn’t just my brother — he was my best friend, my protector, the one who always had the answers for his little sister, and the steady soul I could always count on. There are no words big enough to measure how deeply I love him or how much I’ll miss him.
Steven and his Harley put on countless miles on the road with family and friends, chasing sunsets, laughter, and the next good story. More often than not, those rides ended with a cold beer in one hand and a Jameson chaser in the other.
He loved his Harley, fishing, Nascar, the gun range, and all the simple things that make a man feel alive. But what truly made Steven unforgettable was his heart. Behind that tough exterior was the softest soul — the kind of man who would stop what he was doing to help a friend, fix what was broken, listen when someone needed an ear, or care for even the smallest animal.
Steven worked his final years at Steele Town, though many places were fortunate enough to benefit from his talents and strong work ethic over the years. He could build, fix, and figure out just about anything, but his greatest gift was the way he showed up for the people he loved.
My parting wish for my brother is to lean into the curves, hold on tight, and enjoy the ride. Looking forward to riding together again. I love you, brother.
Steven is survived by his sister, Cheri. Preceded in death by his parents, Don and Donna and Grandparents, Earl and Martha Arne and Melvin and Olga Phernetton.
