Sue Cunningham 09/26/2014

Sue “Mrs. C” Cunningham, age 96 of New Richmond, died on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the St. Croix Health Center.  Sue was born the daughter of Kashmier and Constance (Coolige) Cwiklinski on March 17, 1918 in Blue Island, IL.  She grew up in Necedah, WI.  In 1946 she married Arnold Cunningham in New Albany, IN.  They lived in Mauston, WI until moving to New Richmond in 1961.  Sue was a homemaker and mother.  She loved to garden, rummage sales, and visiting with friends and family.  She was friendly and very outgoing.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Cunningham, Sr., infant son, Jeffery Cunningham; daughter, Rita Heideman; grandson, Bradley Preston; brothers, Joseph, Stanley, and Edward Cwiklinski; sisters, Mary Ferris, and Irene Schneider.  Sue is survived by her children, Arnold (Judith) Cunningham, Jr., Pat Cunningham, Leon (Sharon) Cunningham, Carol (Dennis) Preston, Sharon Cunningham, Dennis (Lisa) Cunningham, Richard (Annette) Cunningham; grandchildren, Lisa (Timothy Wall) Cunningham, Lori (David) Rinka, Kim (Chad) Carlsen, Barry (Christine) Cunningham, Michelle (Will) Cannady, Candace (Brian) Nash, Jason (Melanie) Heideman, Stacey (Scott) Hilmanowske, Travis Cunningham, Stephanie (Mike) Oksness, Rebecca Nutick, Lunden Cunningham; 18 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.  A Memorial Gathering was held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 2-5 pm at the Bakken-Young Beebe Chapel 112 W 3rd Street New Richmond, WI.  Interment will be in the Mauston Cemetery in Mauston, WI.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
