Sidona Lueck 06/12/2011

Sidona R. Lueck age 98 of Roberts died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at The Lutheran Home in River Falls.  She was born the daughter of Frank and Ida (Wichart) Weise on November 28, 1912 in Madison, SD.  Sidona married Arthur Lueck in Minneapolis, MN and the couple farmed in Minnesota before moving to Wisconsin in 1969.  She was a member of Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts involved with quilting and volunteering at church.  Sidona also enjoyed gardening and visiting people.  She will be missed by her children, Arnold (Marcella) Lueck and Beverly Anderson; grandchildren, Jay (Janet) Anderson, John Anderson, Julie (Junior) Kautz, Jeffrey Lueck; great-grandchildren, Maisie Kautz, Sidona Kautz, Joseph Anderson; other relatives and friends.  A funeral service was held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts.  Visitation was also on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 am at church.  Interment was in Warren Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Cross Lutheran Church or Food for the Poor.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of River Falls.
