In Loving Memory Of
Shirley Ann (nee Hansen) Ellis, age 68, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019.
Shirley faced the challenges of MS with courage and dignity and now belongs with the angels. She showed us that hope is eternal. Everyone who knew her, loved her and will miss her. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Jean Hansen. She is survived by her husband, Lee Ellis; sons, Scott and Michael Ellis; brother, Randy (Carla) Hansen, Thomas (Meg) Hansen; sister, Linda (Gene) Schultz; brothers-in-law, Charles (Judith) Ellis, Richard (Mary) Ellis; sister-in-law, Donna (Dave) Schmoeckel; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Shirley’s life was held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 12- 1 pm at Ezekiel Lutheran Church in River Falls. A reception followed at the WestWind in River Falls. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Our deepest sympathy to the Ellis and Hansen families. May she rest in peace after her long struggles. Shirley was an active participant in the high school drama program while a student at New Richmond High, as well has her siblings. We have many great memories of their participation and cherish their friendship. God bless you all.

I worked at the Lutheran Home in River Falls Sis that is where I met Shirley she was a very kind person. Rest in peace and I’m so sorry for your lost. God be with you
