Sheryl Lea Tuenge, 75, of New Richmond, WI, passed away on February 13, 2026. She was born to Herbert and June Tuenge on June 12, 1950, in Stillwater, MN.
Sheryl graduated from Stillwater High School in 1968; married and moved to New Richmond in 1969.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed music, decorating and doing crafts.
She is survived by her daughters, Terri (Douglas) Peterson, Chris (Dave) Humphrey, Jennifer Weeks and Shari (Chad) Waters; her grandchildren, Koehler, Cody, Jack, Blake, Sam, Emma, Hannah and Olivia; and her brothers, Gary (Butch) and Greg Tuenge; as well as other cherished relatives and friends. Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and June; grandson, Jacob; and siblings, Timothy, Norma Jean and Darlene.
A Celebration of Sheryl’s Life will be on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11 am at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 365 W River Drive New Richmond, WI. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10-11 am at the church. Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater, MN. Cremation provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
