Shauna Johnson 03/13/2011

Shauna Lynne Johnson, age 36 of New Richmond, died suddenly on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Hudson Hospital.  She was born the daughter of Ron and Jackie Johnson on July 8, 1974 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  Shauna was a graduate of New Richmond High School with the class of 1992.  She spent her working years caring for the elderly at Our House Assisted Living and the Deerfield Gables.  Shauna loved kayaking and camping with her best friend Charlie, going to concerts, and road trips.  Although she did many things well, cooking was not one of them.  She was passionate in love and anger, strong willed, and a loving mother to her two boys.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Leonard and Dennis Johnson; and fiancé, Shane Baribeau.  Shauna is survived by her sons, Kody and Andrew Baribeau; parents, Ron and Jackie Johnson; brothers, Corey (Mary) Johnson and Josh Johnson; nieces, Kiara, Serena, Brenna, and  Terria; nephews, Jordan and Mason; uncle, Bob (Marge) Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.  A Celebration of Shauna’s life was held on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 5-8 pm with a memory sharing service at 7:30 pm at Bakken-Young’s Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond.  Memorials may be directed to Shauna’s family.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young’s Beebe Mortuary of New Richmond.
