Joan Marie Jacobson, peacefully passed away the morning of November 17, 2025, in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
A funeral service for Joan was held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at First Lutheran Church (New Richmond, WI) at 12:00PM, with visitation also at the church starting at 10:00AM. Interment was in New Richmond Cemetery. The recording of Joan’s service is available through the link below. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

A kinder, sweeter and loving lady did not inhabit this earth than Joan, always a greeting, a smile, kind word or thought. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Our lord will take her hand and guide her forever in peace.
My heart is broken. I loved Aunt Joan so very much. Each time I saw her, she greeted me with the most beautiful smile, a loving hug, and kind words that I will always cherish.
Uncle John was truly blessed to share his life with her, and we were equally blessed to have her in ours.
Though illness prevents us from being at the funeral, please know we are sending our love and hugs from afar. Joan will forever hold a special place in my heart.
