Scott Oliver Emerson
June 30, 1986 to March 28, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce that Scott Oliver Emerson passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2025. He was 38 years old. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Pam Emerson, his sister Micaela Ellevold (Carl Marzolf), and his beloved little nephew, Jack.
Scott’s family will remember him as becoming a quiet soul. He cherished his time spent at the Emerson farm, where he immersed himself in learning about his heritage, indulged in endless reading, engaged in physical activities like running and baseball, and developed a deep love for the sport. He was excited to help teach his nephew Jack all the intricacies of sports. He graduated from New Richmond High School in 2004. After school, he went on to earn a CNC certificate at Dunwoody College of Technology. Scott took pride in working over the years as a CNC Machinist manufacturing an array of machined components for medical supplies to government parts.
Scott ran with the wind at his back, feet pounding the earth with purpose, a heart full of fire and fight. Though the road grew heavy, his spirit never faltered – he was more than the battles he faced, more
than the pain that tried to hold him down. He was light, laughter, and limitless grace. And now, the race has led him home, where his father Bruce waits with open arms. Together, they rise with the morning sun,
working the fields of heaven as they once did on earth – hands strong, hearts full, side by side once more. When the work is done, they run, they play, they rejoice, their laughter echoing across celestial
fields. Scott will also be reunited in Heaven with his loving grandparents Virgil and Alice Emerson, Marcel and Nancy Simon; uncles, Curt Emerson and Michael Simon. Scott, forever etched in the hearts of those who loved him, finds peace in the gentle breeze. His extended family and friends will cherish his memory and carry his spirit with them always.
A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 3 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI. Visitation will also be on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 1 – 3 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
