Sandra Zobel 02/22/2021

Sandra Ruby (Monio) Zobel, age 50 of New Richmond, WI, died on Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home. Sandy was born the daughter of Fred and Shirley Monio on March 12, 1970 in Cumberland, WI. She grew up in Western Wisconsin, graduating from Somerset High School with the class of 1989. Sandy was married to Brian Zobel on December 16, 1989 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson, WI. She worked as a press operator for Polaris and Kapco Inc. in Osceola, WI for 27 years. She loved to travel, experience new things, and have fun. Sandy was a wonderful mother and grandmother who always supportive of her children in whatever they pursued. She was a wonderful and creative cook. Sandy was strong and independent woman. She was generous and welcoming to everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Monio and Fred Monio, Jr. Sandy is survived by her husband, Brian Zobel; children, Brandon Christianson (Step-Son), KellyJo (Brian) Wood, Cody (Brian Johnson) Zobel, Cory (Chelsea) Zobel; grandchildren, Kaidan and Brynn Wood, Cece Ellingvold, Ivy Hanson, Everett Zobel; parents, Fred and Shirley Monio; siblings, Tammy (Michael) Hoppe, Sara (Stan Hall) Horbin, Tim (Amanda) Monio; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. “Goodbye my one and only soulmate with all my love.” Brian Zobel.  A Celebration of Sandy’s Life was held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 3 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church West Campus 1205 6th Street Hudson, WI 54016. Visitation was also held on Sunday from 1-3 pm at the church.  Interment will be at a later date in Independent Cemetery in Clayton, WI.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
