Sandra D. Simon, age 69, died on February 5, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. She was born the daughter of Joe and Lorraine Rudd on March 22, 1952 in Baldwin, WI. Sandra grew up in New Richmond, attending New Richmond High School. She married Mike Simon. Sandra worked as a stay-at-home mom raising her children as well as worked many other jobs throughout her life. She loved taking walks in the park and the library as well as knitting and crocheting. Sandra went out of her way to help people in need. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lorraine Rudd; and brother, Terry Rudd. Sandra is survived by her children, Angela Simon (Frank Smith), Jen Nooyen, and Daniel Simon; grandchildren, Joshua Steeno, Jasmine Smith, Kassandra Nooyen, Monika Nooyen, Shelina Nooyen, Elijah Simon; siblings, Steve (Sue) Rudd, Randy Rudd, Sharlene (Edward) Marek, Donna (Mike) Rutledge, Joan Kohls (Bradley Kunze), Dennis (Cheryl) Rudd, Brad Rudd (Jodie Stoker); and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Service was be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00AM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond with a visitation starting at 10AM. Interment was in Cylon Cemetery in Cylon, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
