Sandra M. Olson, age 73 of River Falls, WI, died on Friday, October 1, 2021, at her home. She was born on September 17, 1948, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Jennings (Joe) and Muriel Johnson. Sandra graduated from St. Paul Central High School, and at the age of 50, went back to school and earned her degree in IT at Brown College. Sandra married Keith Olson. Sandra worked at Cenex and at HealthPartners from which she retired. Sandra loved to travel and took many trips to the Hawaiian Islands. She also took many salmon fishing trips on Lake Michigan with her friends. She loved canning, hunting, and archery. Sandra enjoyed sitting on the porch with the dogs watching her many hummingbirds. Sandra loved to throw parties. Her smile and presence always lit up the room. She will be deeply, deeply missed. Sandra is survived by her husband, Keith Olson; her children, Jimmy, Brian, and Dawnmarie Luedtke; grandchildren, Alisha Marie (Ken) Armstrong, Blaine and Blake Luedtke; great-grandchildren, Decklin, Brody, and Briggs Armstrong; step-children, Brent Olson and Paige Olson; former husband, James Luedtke. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Jennings (Joe) and Muriel Johnson; and her aunt Marion (John) Murphy. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 1:00-4:00PM at Johnnie’s Bar (116 North Main Street) in River Falls. Cremation service provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
