Ruth Virginia Steneman, age 96, passed away on January 16, 2019. She was born October 17, 1922 to John and Hattie Mentink in Baldwin, WI. She was preceded in death by husband, Ralond Steneman and daughter, Trudy Steneman. Ruth is survived by her sister, Kay (Ken) Olson of River Falls; daughters, Heidi (Don) Stevens, Vicky (Duane) Madsen, Phoebe (Dana) Johnson; sons, Mark (Garrel) Steneman and Todd (Sally) Steneman; as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Ruth’s life was held Friday, April 12, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm with memory sharing at 2:30 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St.) in River Falls. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I am very sorry for your loss. Had many pleasant conversations with Ruth during her stay a few years back at Our House. She was such a sweet lady. Thoughts and prayers to you and the entire family.
I just saw this notification. Ruth became special to me from several conversations after strawberry picking at Paradise Valley Farm in Menomonie, WI. My condolences, Heidi, Trudy, Vicki, and Todd. I hope you all are well.
