Roy Foss 04/21/2023

Roy E. Foss died peacefully at his home on Friday, April 21, 2023 at age 85. Roy was born June 22, 1937 the son of Ernest and Alma Foss. He grew up on a farm near Osceola, Wis, where he attended school. He was one of six siblings. Roy was baptized, confirmed and married at West Immanuel Lutheran Church. He married Beverly Johnson on June 28, 1958. The couple had two sons, Wayde and Bradley. Roy worked as a carpenter in the twin cities and built many high rises. He loved traveling, going up north to his cabin and the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Foss; son, Bradley Foss; sister, Betty Bliese and sister-in-law, Sue Foss. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, June (Don) Waalen, Mary (Charles) McKelfresh, Earl (Marlene) Foss, John Foss; brother-in-law, Dale Bliese; and son, Wayde Foss. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at West Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Osceola. Visitation was also Thursday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in West Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
