Ronald Woodcock 07/12/2016

Ronald Woodcock “Woody”, age 61 of Roberts, WI, and formerly of Meadowlands, MN, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home.    Woody was born the son of John and Dorothy (Suitor) Woodcock on February 2, 1955 in Duluth, MN.  He grew up in Meadowlands and graduated from Toivola-Meadowlands High School with the class of 1973.  Woody spent 23 years in the building, grounds and maintenance department with Amsoil in Superior, WI and the past 14 years in the lumber yard at Menards in Hudson, WI.  He was married to Judith Geske on July 18, 1978 in Superior.  Woody enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and fixing things.  He was a quiet, loyal man with a big heart.  He was always willing to help.  He is survived by wife, Judith Woodcock; daughter, Jacqueline Jones; son, John Woodcock; and granddaughter, Zoie Jones.  A Celebration of Woody’s Life was held on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 3-7 pm at the pavilion in the park in Roberts, WI.  Cremation services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Baldwin.

    It’s been a pleasure working with you over the last few years. You were a heck of a good guy, and it was always the highlight of my weekend when I’d wander out to the yard to talk with you. You’ll be missed by the many people who’ve had the honor of working with you over the years.

    Sorry to hear about this. Use to Hunt with Woodie and Judy years ago up here in Northern WI. Had many a fun time with them over the years.

    R.I.P. my dear cousin. I’m sorry we never got to see you again after we both had graduated. It sounds like you were one beck of a man and loved by all who knew you. I’m happy you brought so muchn hmm onto others. Give my mms on and dad a.hug from me when you see them. You will be missed.

    Ronald, sounds like you were an inspiration to many and a well like co-worker.. So sorry to hear of your loss Judy. This is Ronald 1st cousin Ellen, our moms were sisters. I live in Siren WI & I have a daughter & family that live in Hammond . My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
