Robert Swanson 12/22/2011

Robert Swanson, age 84 of New Richmond, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond.  Bob was born on July 27, 1927 in Vernon Center, IA.  He was married to Betty Kamin on June 11, 1950.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son Lynn Swanson; and grandson, Matthew Swanson.  Bob is survived by his daughters, Wanda Swanson of New Richmond and Sandra (Dale) Rogers of Brandon, IA; son, Tom Swanson of New Richmond; brother, Gene Swanson of Amery, WI; and sister, Helen Reutlinger of Cresco, IA.  A Memorial Service was held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 1 pm at the St. Croix Health Center.  Interment was in New Richmond Cemetery.  Arrangements were with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
