Robert “Bob” Gerald Krauss, age 69 of Star Prairie, WI passed away February 26th. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol (née Myers), sons Peter (Amy) and Mark (P.K.), mother Joan Fosmo, sisters Jean Kringle (Terry) and Bonnie, granddaughters Heidi and Alena, brother-in-law Andrew Myers (Diane), sister-in-law Audrey Garlie (Norman), and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father Gerald. Bob was born November 28th, 1949 in Red Wing, MN, and was raised in Ellsworth and Webster, WI. He attended technical school to become a machinist. Bob was a 36 year employee of Bosch/Doboy and an active union leader. He was an avid outdoorsman and seasoned in hunting, fishing and trapping. Bob’s cabin near Siren, WI was his favorite retreat. He loved his dogs and there was always one by his side. AA was an important part of Bob’s life and he considered those friends part of his family. A springtime celebration of life is planned. Cremation Services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
