Robert Kaczmarski 03/23/2024

Robert “Bob” Stanley Kaczmarski, age 97, of New Richmond, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at The Deerfield Gables Care Center.  He was born January 23, 1927 the son to Stanley and Katherine (Kolasinski) Kaczmarski in Glenwood City.  Bob attended Oakdale Grade School and graduated from Clear Lake High School.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  In 1953, he married Beverly Rudd in Amery, WI the union was blessed with five children.  Bob worked at the Bank of Clear Lake, Doughboy Industries, G-S Electric, O’Reilly Auto Parts as well as owned and operated Kaczmarski Implement.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting.  Bob was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #80 of New Richmond.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Katherine Kaczmarski; wife, Beverly Kaczmarski; brothers, Michael and Wayne Kaczmarski; grandson, Andrew James Kiekhoefer; granddaughter, Jessica Lichtie; great-granddaughter, Alice Kaczmarski.  Bob is survived by his children, Greg (Donna) Kaczmarski, Jeff (Brenda) Kaczmarski, Pat Kaczmarski, Julie (Jim) Kiekhoefer, Nancy (Michael) Ackley; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Marlys Kaczmarski.  Bob’s family extends their appreciation to caregivers and staff at The Deerfield and Optage Hospice for their care and comfort provided over the past months. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (151 S Washington Ave) New Richmond.  Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4-7 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond and also Friday from 12:00-1:00 pm at the church.  Interment was in Immaculate Catholic Church Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #80. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

    Bob was such a nice man. He made a doll house for our Grand Daughters, gave me his African Violets and came to our house and played cribbage with Ron when he was visiting at Nancy’s. Rest in peace Bob will always remember you.
