Dick was a wonderful mentor and friend who introduced me to the world of IT and business analysis. He was always patient, encouraging, and generous with his knowledge.
One of my favorite lessons from Dick was his approach to prioritizing programming requests. Whenever someone came up with a great new idea, Dick would put the request at the bottom of the pile and wait. If nobody followed up, it stayed there. His philosophy was simple: “The squeaky wheel gets the oil.” It was a humorous but surprisingly effective lesson in understanding what really mattered to people.
I’m grateful for everything Dick taught me, but even more grateful to have known him. I’ll miss his humor, kindness, and friendship.

Dick was a wonderful Friend and Hospital Board member, one who used common sense during major decisions, always caring about others in need of our medical center. He spent many hours on the board, using vast personal knowledge in health decisions.

Dick was a wonderful, Christian man who lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. We have been blessed being members of Zion together and worked alongside Dick there. He loved life, God and his family. We have lost another “stellar” of a guy at Zion but the memories we have all had with him will remain in our hearts forever!
