Ramona Karstetter 09/25/2011

Ramona E. Karstetter age 98 of Hudson died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.  She was born the daughter of Carl and Louise (Herrwig) Reineke on September 15, 1913 in the Town of Woodland, Wisconsin.  On November 3, 1934, Ramona married Ledger Karstetter.  She enjoyed gardening, baking and her family.  Ramona is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ledger; two brothers, Edmund and Raymond; and sister-in-law, Emma Reineke.  She will be missed by her daughter, Jean (Wayne) Haut; grandchildren, Michael (Brenda) Haut, Andrea (Jeffrey) White; great-grandchildren, Maddy Haut, Nick Haut, Ledger White; and niece, Carol Reineke.  A funeral service was held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson.  Visitation was also Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 pm at church.  Interment was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wonewoc, Wisconsin.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
