Pauline Sailer 07/11/2015

Pauline Margaret Sailer passed away peacefully, at home, at Comforts of Home in River Falls, Wisconsin on July 11, 2015 at age 97.  Born in Plum City, WI on July 9, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kohl.  Pauline attended Elmwood High School.  In 1942 she married Hugo Sailer. They made their home in Elmwood, Wisconsin and together they built a successful family business.  Pauline loved being a homemaker. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking and baking, always ready for company.  She loved playing her bridge and golf with friends and family.  Pauline will be remembered for her warmth, her concern for others, and her wonderful sense of humor.  Above all, she cherished her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Linda Fanelli and her husband Anthony of Southbury, CT, two sons, Daniel Sailer of Dolan Springs, AZ; and William Sailer and his wife Linda of Duluth, MN; her granddaughter, Rebecca Festa (Fanelli) and her husband, Steve, of Orange, CT; her grandsons, Michael Fanelli of Waterbury, CT; Christopher Fanelli and his wife Veronica of New Haven, CT; Isaac Sailer of Hudson, WI; Noah Sailer of Fridley, MN; nine great-grandchildren, Mark and Matthew Festa, Eli, Ayla and Jax Sailer, Blake and Gabriella Sailer, Giuliana and Analia Fanelli; along with many nephews and nieces.  She is predeceased by her husband, Hugo Sailer; her grandson Caleb Sailer and her four sisters and two brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Saint Bridget Catholic Church, 211 E. Division Street, River Falls, WI.  Visitation was also Saturday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment was at Farm Hill Cemetery, in Elmwood.
