Patricia Norvold 04/15/2024

Patricia Jane Norvold (Voss), born November 1, 1942 to Harlan and Alice Voss passed away peacefully, in her children’s arms, on April 15, 2024. Pat was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. Pat was a great story teller and often shared fun memories of her family growing up in St. Paul. Pat was married to Robert Norvold for 18 years and later divorced. They were blessed with 2 children. Pat ended her career at the Oak Park Heights Correctional Facility where she worked for over 17 years.
Pat touched many people throughout her life with her listening ear, caring heart, words of wisdom and joyful spirit. She was a prayer warrior for her family and for many others who crossed her path. She will be deeply missed by her children: Paul (Deb) Norvold, Andrea Oreso, grandchildren: Nicole (Eric) Simonis, Alex Kela, Delani Oreso, Taji Oreso, Jabari Oreso and her great grandchildren, Blake Simonis, Grady Simonis and Croix Simonis. She will finally get to meet and hold her great grandchild Boden Simonis, and reunite with her parents and family who have gone before her.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. All condolences can be sent through Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

My husband, John, first met Pat while driving truck. His route included Toro where Pat worked at one time. Then I met Pat when she came to work at MCF-Oak Park Heights. She was a great, upbeat person who always had a kind word or joke for everyone. I missed her when I moved on from Oak Park Heights. May she rest in peace.
