Vernon (Vern) James Rondeau, age 75, of Osceola, WI, peacefully passed away on November 30, 2025, at Osceola Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Born on July 30, 1950, to Alvin and Rose (Neumann) Rondeau, Vern grew up on his family’s farm in Horse Creek, Wisconsin, alongside his close-knit parents and siblings. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1968. Vern married his sweetheart, Judi Denninger, on September 9, 1972, and together they created a warm and loving home in Horse Creek. They raised two children, Ryan and Amy, who were the joy of his life. Vern devoted 38 years to Anderson Windows, where he formed countless lifelong friendships.
Vern can be described as many things, one being a natural tinkerer. He could make or fix just about anything he set his mind to. He loved dreaming up projects, building them, and teaching others along the way (especially his grandchildren). He also enjoyed hunting, riding horses, working with animals, camping, riding his side-by-side and supporting his children and grandchildren in everything they did. Anyone who knew Vern knew the smirk, the jokes, and the way he could lighten a room.
Vern is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judi; his children, Ryan (Jessica) and Amy (Mike) Lee; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Garrett (fiancée, Chloe), Jenna, and Brianna. He is also survived by his brothers, Don (Linda) Rondeau, Roger (Cindy) Rondeau, Robert (Pat) Rondeau, and Neil (Denise) Rondeau; his sisters, Phyllis Powers and Lois (Butch) Grevich; sister-in-law, Mary Denninger; along with many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Vern is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Rose Rondeau; his in-laws, Calvin and Gladys Denninger; his sister, Rosemary Rondeau Langer; his brothers-in-law, Calvin Powers and Doug Denninger; his nieces, Bridgett Powers-Anderson, Bethany Powers, and Brynn Palmer; and his nephew, Ben Moore.
A celebration of life for Vern was planned for Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond, Wisconsin. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Judi, Ryan and Amy. Vern was a very good friend starting back in high school playing football and wrestling. At Andersen Windows, we worked in the shipping department loading boxcars and vans. Vern will be missed by all who knew him. God Bless you all at this most difficult time.
Vern was a great guy, although I didn’t spend much time with him directly, I worked with Judi for many years at the bank, so he was around and always there to help. He will be dearly missed by his wonderful family and friends near and far.
I spent some of my first years at AW on the shipping track hauling loads around to the boxcars and vans where Vern worked. He was always nice to work with and be to get to know him. My sympathies to the family as they deal with this difficult time. May the good Lord guide the familly through this time in their lives. God’s peace and comfort.
Judy and family we are so very sorry for your loss Gods blessings to you all
