Michael (Mike) E. Jagg, 64 of Hudson, WI, passed away unexpectedly on March 10, 2026. He was a wonderful husband, grandfather, and friend and his presence will be deeply missed. Mike was born in St. Paul, MN on June 1st, 1961. He, his brother Mark, and his mom Margaret moved to Hudson in 1969 where he met his “ride or die” friends. This group of guys are still friends to this day. He attended Hudson High School and went on to join the US Air Force. He was an MP in Colorado for the term of his service. His passion in his younger years was food. He started working at local restaurants, moving on to work at a major hotel and multiple golf courses as an executive chef both gaining knowledge and making friends. In 2003, he married the love of his life Angela, bringing along her two daughters. These two girls he loved wholeheartedly from the time he met them. Within the first two years of marriage, two sons joined, making his family complete. He loved being part of their many activities, sharing in both their highs, lows, accomplishments, and setbacks. In 2020, he semi-retired and took a “slower paced” job at Menards where he continued to make many friends. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, friends, and family and cheering for the greatest football team: the Green Bay Packers. His love for his family extended to his three grandsons. He was so proud of how kind and loving they have become as well as all their achievements due to their dedication to their craft. Preceded in death by his mother Margaret Jagg Merrill, his father Roger Merrill, and brother Mark Jagg. Survived by wife Angie, children Mel (Jeff), Jaci (Ian), Vince, and Anthony, grandsons Chris, Rieder, and Xander, brothers Paul (Lori) Merrill, Bill (Eileen) Merrill, and Roger (Jenn) Merrill. I graduated with Mike in 1979, and while we weren’t great friends, back then you k ew most of your classmates. Mike was somewhat quiet, but a very nice guy. I’m sorry for your loss, and our class isn’t quite as great as it was with Mike’s passing!
