Marlene Brinkman, age 92, peacefully passed away at home, on Monday, March 30, 2026, with her family by her side.
She was born February 19, 1934, to Victor and Helen Lukes in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
After spending many years as a nun, she left the convent in hopes of a new adventure. A year later, she met and married the love of her life, Glen. Together, Marlene and Glen built a beautiful life on their farm, raising goats, chickens and cows. She loved to garden and adored her dogs. When she wasn’t on the farm she was working part time as a kitchen aid at Maple Manor in New Richmond. She treasured watching the Minnesota Vikings!
A memorial service for Marlene was held Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11AM at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond, Wisconsin with visitation being at 10AM. Interment will be in St. Anne Cemetery, Somerset, Wisconsin.

I had many fond memories of Marlene. She was so kind. When I visited she would always give me some milk and walk with me to the barn to feed the kitties and the collect eggs. She always took time with me. She will be missed.
I remember when they Glen and Marlene were dating and me with. Renee our first date was Shrine Circus.
The four of us had so much fun!
Us four were always doing things together.
