Lana Herzog 08/13/2026

Lana , age 62, of Somerset WI, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 13, 2026.

Born on May 14, 1964 in Menomonie WI, Lana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter sister, and friend. She shared 20 loving years of marriage with her husband, David, who was by her side throughout their life together.

Lana served our country  in the Army National guard.  She earned her Bachelor degree in Family Counseling.  She went on to achieve her Master degree in Vocational Rehabilitation.

Lana will be remembered for her kindness,  her sense of humor, generosity and for the love she so freely gave to those around her. She found joy in traveling, her dogs,  and treasured time spent with her family and friends. Her presence brought comfort and happiness to many, and she leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.

She is survived by her husband, David; parents Norm and Donna Mrdutt; siblings, Teresa Larry Kalina, Brenda Keck and Melissa Malean, Sean Mrdutt.  Children, Ben, Megan Herzog; Betsy Missigman John Chris, Laura Herzog, Nick, Ashley Herzog and seven grandchildren.

A celebration of Lana’s life will be held at a later date

Though she is deeply missed, her love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
