Mitch Banger 12/28/2018

Mitchel John Banger, age 61 of Minong, WI died Friday, December 28, 2018 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He was born the son of Mitchel and Norma Banger on August 25, 1957. Mitch grew up in Minong attending Northwoods High School, however in 1972, Mitch’s family moved to Somerset where he graduated Somerset High School, class of 1975. Following graduation, Mitch worked for Andersen Windows until 1988. In 1992, he moved back to Minong starting his own construction business. Mitch loved hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing; especially the trips associated with his hobbies. He was a humorous, independent, and occasionally ornery man with tons of friends. Mitch is preceded in death by his parents, Mitchel and Norma. He is survived by his sons, Chet and Bret; grandson, Jace; siblings, Karen (Earl) Lee, Barbara Andrews, Joan (Marty) Beauvais, Roxanne (Chuck) McCumber, and Mark (Lynda) Banger; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at Gibby’s Lanes, New Richmond, WI at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
