Melita and Dick and their four children moved to Hastings in the late 60’s for Dick’s work. We lived across the street. We became lifelong friends lead by Melita’s enthusiasm and infectious personality. I loved visiting with her on the phone catching up on current events and family. Family and good friends were so important to her. Dick, Linnet, Kevin, Debra and Melisa. You were blessed with a very special woman as a wife and mother. I join you in mourning her passing.

I’m so sorry to hear of Melita’s death. We were neighbors on Roosevelt Court for many happy years. We always enjoyed the whole family.
