Mary Ann Zinser 03/21/2014

Mary Ann Zinser age 79 of Roberts, WI and formerly of Madison, SD passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born May 29, 1934 in Madison, SD.  Mary Ann lived in Madison, SD until 1979 and  when she moved to Minnesota and later to Wisconsin.  Mary Ann loved to sing in the choir, read books, do crosswords, go shopping (especially for jewelry), and spend time with her family.  Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gene Zinser; her daughters, Wendy (Randy) Pederson, Barb (Tom) Pedersen; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 step children; 10 step grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren; sister, Margo (Karl) Olson; brother, Mike (Greta) Howe.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Downs; parents, John and Rosemond Devault; and an infant child, Mark.  A gathering to celebrate Mary Ann’s life was held in her home in Roberts, WI on Monday, March 24, 2014 beginning at 4:00 pm and a memorial service was held in her hometown of Madison, SD on Saturday, March 29, 2014.  The family would like to thank Adoray Hospice for their wonderful care and special thanks to her granddaughter, Kristy, who cared for her the past 5 years.  Cremation services are provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
