Marvin Heinbuch 04/17/2019

Marvin Albert Heinbuch, age 83, of New Richmond, WI passed away on April 17th at home.  Marvin’s sister-in-law, Marcia Heinbuch, graciously and compassionately cared for him providing security, medical aid, understanding and love.  Marvin was born in Lake Elmo, Minn. On Dec.14, 1935 to Albert and Bertha(Pribnow) Heinbuch. He farmed with his parents and brother, Allen, in Woodbury until his father purchased the family farm south of New Richmond, WI. There they farmed until Albert’s death in 1976, at which time Marvin assumed management of the family farm with the assistance of his brother Allen until his death in 2007.  There was no farmer more gentle and caring with his cattle. He took great pride in his cattle, machinery, buildings, and land. He loved his refurbished antique tractors, specifically Internationals although he has the 1st tractor his father purchased, a sweet Little H John Deere. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls and the company of fellow tractor enthusiasts immensely.  Marvin was often invited to WITC for agricultural events and lunches which were a high point of his week. He was recently awarded honorary member status by the New Richmond FFA.  Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Bertha, brother, Allen, sister-in-law, Bernatine, niece Kim Norlander, and nephew Jeff Boardman.  He is survived by sister-in-law Marcia Heinbuch, nieces and nephews: David(Ronda) Heinbuch, Tom Schnitzler, Karen(Rick)Magler, Marlo(Lori) Fritz, Heidi Boardman, Shirley(Michael) Mayer, and many great nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11 am at the New Richmond United Methodist Church 209 E 2nd Street New Richmond, WI. Visitation was also held on Monday from 10-11 am at the church. Interment was in New Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Marvin wanted memorials to go to the New Richmond FFA Alumni or the Heritage Center.  The family extends the deepest gratitude to all who visited, shared Marvin’s interests, supported, offered comfort and encouragement. We will truly miss this gentle soul.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Our family had a long and wonderful history with the Heinbuch family from Grandpa Swanson selling IH tractors to visiting with Marv a few days ago. We will miss him!
