Marguerite Yvonne (Rogers) Olson, age 86, of New Richmond Wisconsin, passed away on November 3, 2023 at the St. Croix Health Center. She was born October 6, 1937 to parents Phillip and Clara (Perry) Rogers in New Haven Township, Dunn County WI.
Maggie and her family moved from the Connersville area to Stanton Township when she was in elementary school. She attended New Richmond High School then moved to Colorado her senior year where she graduated from West Denver High in 1956. Maggie moved back to Wisconsin after graduation but Colorado always remained her favorite place.
On June 1, 1963 Maggie married Ralph Olson. They were married for 53 years when Ralph passed away in 2016. They settled and raised their two children on her family farm in Stanton Township. Maggie worked in various administration positions. Maggie loved sewing and had a gift for making beautiful quilts. She enjoyed gardening then canning or freezing the fruits of that labor. In Retirement, Maggie and Ralph enjoyed summers at Six Lakes Resort in Chetek WI and winters at Winter Ranch in Alamo Texas.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Olson; brothers, Raymond Rogers, Neil Rogers, Everett Rogers and Lester Rogers; and sister, Charlotte Helgeson.
She is survived by her son, Marty (Debbie) Olson, Daughter Gail (Jim) Rebhan and special friend, Cecil Brighton. Also survived by grandchildren, Maddy Snyder, Justine Kolve, Grady Olson, Brodie (Lexie) Olson, Jake (Brittney) Rebhan, Cole (Laura) Rebhan and Tanner Rebhan; great granddaughters, Sydney, Hannah and Kourtney; great grandsons, Harvey and Arlo; brothers Phillip (Lorna) Rogers and Mack Rogers; sisters-in-law, Judy Rogers, Barb Rogers and Marcia Rogers.
A celebration of Maggie’s life was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond, WI at 12:00PM with visitation one hour before the service. Maggie’s service can be watched using the link below. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, WI. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

In my thoughts an prayers..She shared her love of sewing with many friends. She kind caring person. New her thru thurs. OWLS weight loss. Also when Ralph was at Deerfield. Condolences to the family.
Such a sweet lady. We always looked forward for Maggie’s fabulous zucchini desert. You all have our sympathy.
