Margaret Lindell

Margaret S. Lindell, age 93, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on May 28, 2019.

Margaret was born July 26, 1925 in Chatham, IL. She graduated from high school in Springfield, IL in 1943. She then moved to Long Beach, CA where she met her future husband, Dr. A. L. Lindell. They married in 1946 and moved to New Richmond, WI. They raised two children and lived in New Richmond the rest of their lives. Margaret was an elementary school teacher, went on to get her master’s degree in Reading Disabilities and then became an administrator at the newly formed Wisconsin Indianhead Vocational District. She was very dedicated to her husband, children, and career. She had a very active social life and loved to entertain.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Minnie (Dieck) Schroll; brothers, Norman and Harold Schroll; sisters, Elsie Buchter and Esther Buchter. Also by her husband, Dr. A. L. Lindell. She is survived by her two children, Kirk (Carol) Lindell and Lillis (Bill) Lindell-Casey; and her two granddaughters, Emily Lindell,  Sarah Lindell; sister, Ann (George) Klemaier.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 AM on Friday June 7, 2019 at the First Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 AM at the church. Lunch will be served immediately after the service.
